

THE HOUSE OF SARI, a nonprofit 501©3 is a wellness program that specializes in educating and providing therapeutic natural healthcare and healing alternative medicines to members of the community regardless of income, who are seeking to take responsibility of their own health and are willing to learn the true meaning of a healthy body, mind and spirit. The House of Sari encourages personal growth and development and recognizes the basic human need to feel healthy, be healthy and live healthy.
Dr. Sari J. Ramzan, DC the founder and CEO of The House of Sari has made it her goal to help eliminate poverty, through educating the community about the importance of health. She firmly believes that knowledge is power.
Through The House of Sari’s Childhood Obesity Prevention Workshop and Lecture that Dr. Ramzan and her team has developed, wishes to effectively reduce childhood obesity by motivating and educating parents and children on the importance of maintaining good health through developing healthy eating habits, physical activity, and the negative impact of obesity.
CEO'S BIOGRAPHY

DR. SARI J. RAMZAN, DC is the Founder and CEO of The House of Sari, a non-profit organization that promotes ending poverty by adopting healthy lifestyles through holistic therapy which includes chiropractic and homeopathic methods.
Dr. Sari J. Ramzan, a native of Salisbury, North Carolina holds a Business degree from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina and a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia. She is also a graduate of Rising Spirit Institute of Massage in Atlanta, Georgia, where she received a license from the State of Georgia to practice as a massage therapist. After receiving her license to practice chiropractic therapy from the State of New York in November 2009, she immediately started practicing alternative medicine and chiropractic therapy at Ocean Chiropractic Clinic in Brooklyn, New York and is currently employed there.
She has over 10 years of studying and experience in the chiropractic field, including conservative pain management, applied kinesiology, holistic therapy and nutritional therapy among others. Dr. Ramzan developed an interest in natural approaches to healthcare while studying kinesiology during the first year at Life Chiropractic College, after experiencing the benefits of natural therapies first-hand.
For the past 14 years, Dr. Ramzan has been studying and practicing alternative medicine extensively in the United States and abroad in India, El Salvador and Guyana. In 2001 she attended the Ayurvedic Institute in Kerala, India, and studied Ayurvedic medicine. (In Western medicine, ayurveda is classified as a system of complementary and alternative medicine that is used to complement, rather than replace the treatment regimen and relationship that exists between a patient and their existing physician.)
Her guiding philosophy is to be creative in promoting optimal health. Dr. Ramzan has made it a mission to work with all individuals regardless of economic means that are seriously seeking to take responsibility of their own health and willing to learn the true meaning and gain the benefits of a healthy body, mind and spirit.
